NorthernViz
Objective
NorthernViz’s objective is to work with independent artists to develop creative and intriguing NFT’s based on their contemporary work. They have created their varied and stunning works, that we want to elevate to another level of experience and engagement. The idea is to bring their art to life in the digital world as NFTs, giving their work new exposure, a new audience and a new way of selling their extraordinary art.
At NorthernViz we believe that the artist should maintain the IP of their original artwork for themselves and we will create a series of digitally enhanced NFTs that are dynamic and capture the essence of their work. One painting can be created into numerous different NFTs each with a different style, appearance and mood. Our intention is to create an emotional reaction and invite the viewer into the piece to connect with the subject.
NorthernViz is working directly with Mountain Galleries, one of Canada’s most successful independent art galleries based in Whistler, Banff and Jasper, that supports and promotes unique Canadian artists.
At the helm is Wayne Abbott who has produced and directed most of Northern Sky Entertainment's work over the past three decades. Abbott is also an award-winning cinematographer who has won two Emmy awards for his filming of the Hawaii Ironman for NBC. As a director and cinematographer he is driven by the perfect image. Now, as creative director of NorthernViz, and an artist himself, he wants to bring traditional art into the NFT world creating new and unique NFTs.
NorthernViz’s lead visual artist Keon, a film cinematographer and graduate of SCAD, Savannah College of Art & Design will be adding his rare and unique talents to each NFT NorthernViz creates. His creative eye and ability to add subtle digital enhancements to the artwork will create one-of-a-kind and sought-after NFTs.
